I hadn’t noticed at first, but the mentor had left a note that told where my next gig was to be. And so the two ladies loaded me up, not in a bag this time, though the one refused to touch me and was very afraid I might touch the others hair if we hit a bump, and took me back to Town of Maine. This turned out to be not all I had hoped for, because when the lady with strands of silver in hair saw me, she laughed very hard and than took off all my new things, even my glasses. There I was, naked to world again.

But at least she promised to keep me traveling. And sure enough, soon we were headed on a long long trip. This time I had a nighttime performance. We were out in the woods, (I think it was Popple something or other) and she took me out when it was very dark. We snuck around everyone’s campsite so I would be viewed in the very best spot. Well it must have been perfect; because when the blond women saw me she could not stop screaming with delight. It was wonderful.

And than I had a second showing the next morning, and wonder of wonders, it was at my mentor’s campsite. She was so happy to see me; she quickly set me up for one more performance that same morning and the blond screamed just as loudly when she found me in her tack room. What a perfect weekend that was.

Back to my mentors campsite....

Does she really drink this stuff?

As promised, I was soon on The Road, now truly a traveling performer. However it would have been much nicer if the lady with streaks of silver in her hair and lady with fire in hers had let me ride in the truck with them instead of shoved under the bed, even on the bed would have been better. But nothing was going to upset me now, I was on my way.

The trip was very long and very very hilly. I heard them mention Wildcats, but I wasn’t afraid, I knew I could handle any damn cat. Once we reached the new campsite the lady with fire in her hair said I had to get out of her bedroom, and that was rather insulting. I had to wait in a horse trailer. And to top it off, I was stuffed in another bag and after a bit of confusion, was carried to my next showing.

All this was worth it though when a woman I had never seen before opened the door to my new dressing room and just stared at me in wonder. The man, I think was her husband, was so impressed though, that he gasped loudly and almost fainted. I think it was the new pose I had been working on all week that almost did him in. It was all soooo wonderful.

Later that evening I was invited to a cocktail party where everyone told fascinating stories all about me. I knew I was famous but never imagined so many people were interested in me.
